Rare Tiffany by Elsa Peretti Earrings Circa 1970s
Each set with a fancy-cut rock crystal, signed Tiffany & Co., Peretti, length 3.1cm
These sculptural pair of clips-earrings are extremely rare and only a handful produced.
They were designed by Elsa Peretti for the Tiffany studios, circa mid 1970's.
They have been manufactured in solid 18ct yellow gold, with high polished finish. Suited at the reverse with very comfortable hinged omega backs for fastening clips. If you prefer a post option can be added in a couple of days free of charge for pierced ears.
They are designed as an asymmetric pair, left and right and mounted with a pair of natural translucent clear rock quartz, carved in the shape of lilies. These carvings are embedded in the gold of the main body, giving the impression of floating in the air.
This little sculptures have a reminiscence to the flowers, painted by the American artist women, Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986).
